LEO LEIDERMAN

Chief Economic Advisor of Bank Hapoalim

Prof. Leo Leiderman is the Chief Economic Advisor of Bank Hapoalim. He is also a professor
of Economics at the Berglas School of Economics and the Coller School of Management at
Tel Aviv University. Among previous high-level positions, Leiderman was a Senior Director
and Head of Research at the Bank of Israel and Managing Director of Emerging Market
Economies at Deutsche Bank in Wall Street. Prof. Leiderman has written and spoken
extensively on issues like: globalization, international finance, central bank policies,
economic crises, and the Israeli economy. Leiderman obtained his Ph.D. from the University
of Chicago.
